JAMMY NEWS – SHOEBOX PACKING 2025
November 2nd saw us get together to pack up the items collected throughout the year for the shoe boxes, which go to children all over the world who, for a lot of them, will be the only gift they receive this year.
During the year, we have collected lots of items from church members, community café users and other user groups from The Hub as well as generously being given lots from the CoOp Funeral Directors on the Norwich Road, who also collected items for us.
As you can see, we had all sorts of gifts for all ages. We had toys, games, school supplies and stationery items, personal care, hats, gloves, socks, accessories all crammed into the boxes together with a personal note.
By the end of the session, we had packed 30 boxes ready for collection and sending off to end in the hands of a child that needs it.
