Our Messy Church Session 14th February

Messy Church

We had our first session on Messy Church of 2026 on Valentine’s Day 14^th February.  It was lovely to have The Hub full of children, families, babies and older members of our Church; a real intergenerational event.

We were really blessed to have lots of helpers, members & elders of our church together with older members of JAM, who helped in the kitchen or lead craft tables.

As per a regular Messy Church event, we had many different craft tables, each themed around love.  Tina spoke about our theme for today using a Lego heart illustrating God’s love for us, which makes us strong and whole, allowing us to pass on that love for others, by small (or big) acts of kindness. Then we sang an action song “Build Up One Another” by Fischy Music.

followed by our main meal provided by Don, Felicity and Frances and then Pavlova for dessert.  It was a truly fun-filled messy event.

Thanks to all who prepared food or helped on the day to make it such a wonderful occasion.
